"Our medical team brought CeraLyte ORS packets for our mission in Uganda. On previous missions, there had been "casualties" due to the heat. This time the team remarked how marvelous they felt. They attributed that directly to the ORS replacement fluids.

A nurse and I served almost 950 people at the four rural sites in Uganda. Frequently during the times of our clinic, we would encounter a patient with severe diarrhea who was brought to us limp. On my way to Africa, I said a small prayer hoping that I would maintain good health for the entire time so I could serve every day that I could. One day I developed severe gastrointestinal problems and was quiate disabled, orthostatic and, frankly, prostrate. Using an intense regimen of the ORS replacement fluid, I believe my recovery was accelerated. I was ambulatory in time to give the departing words to the community leaders who had gathered for our farewell ceremony.
