CeraSport Sponsored "Adventures For The Cure" Team Finishes the RAAM 2008

Congratulations to the "Adventures forthe Cure Team". Adam Driscoll, Pat Blair, Alex Driscoll and Keith Rohr , finished the Race Across America!! in 6 days 13 hours and 25 minutes on June 18th, 2008!! They placed 4th in the 4 man relay team division...on fixed gear bikes. No other team was using a Fixed gear bike.
They were able to raise about $16,000 for American Diabetes Association (ADA) and PSC Partners Seeking a Cure. They are still waiting for a few more donations to come in.
During the race the team members used CeraSport to help avert cramping. One of the team members who is diabetic, used it to help avert insulin spiking that happens with typical sports drinks.
Adventures For The Cure is a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt organization that exists to raise awareness for Diabetes, to show those diagnosed with Diabetes and their families how leading a healthy and active lifestyle can move you beyond your percieved limits, and to raise funds for Diabetes research. The organization also raises awareness and funds for other causes that the board of directors has selected. In the past we have raised funds for the following organizations: The American Diabetes Association,
Kupenda For The Children, The Blood:Water Mission and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
