Clearwater Beach, FL-

CeraSport triathlete Mirinda Carfrae took the gold metal and set a new world's best record time of 4:07:25 at the second Ford Ironman World Championship 70.3 held in Clearwater Beach, Florida on November 10. Siri Lindley, Carfrae's coach, whose team "Sirius" is also sponsored by Cera Products, said, "She's worked hard for this and deserves it. She went out with a lot of heart and she was willing to make it hurt and do whatever it took to win." Last year, Carfrae fought a nagging injury to place third in the same event. "I'm a lot smarter with my training and scheduling" said Carfrae who beat out the second place finisher by four minutes.

Congratulations Mirinda!
