Triathlete Succeeds with Cera Sport
In his third triathlon, Steven Powell, a brand new triathlete from Utah, took second place at the 2007 Land Rover Pumpkinman Triathlon. Steve contributes his energy and endurance to CeraSport. "This was my best race of the year, and I couldn't have done it without CeraSport," Powell said. The triathlon was held October 14, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada and had 915 athletes registered for the event.
Steve began exercising for the first time in February 2007 to "get in shape and lose some weight." However, his recent success as a triathlete is nothing short of amazing. Steve used CeraSport to "preload" 45 minutes before the race. In addition, Powell consumed 16-20 oz of CeraSport during the biking portion of the race. He competed in the short-distance event which was composed of a .75k swim, 20k bike and 5k run.
