Columbia, MD - CeraSport professional Triathlete, Richie Cunningham successfully defended his title at the Longhorn Ironman 70.3 in Texas. By the end of the bike, competitors Cunningham, Fleischmann, Bell, and Cigana started the run within seconds of each other. Averaging just over 5:30 per mile, Cunningham ran his way to the title ahead of Fleischmann and a fast-running Alessandro Degasperi. "The swim was easy but the rest of the race was hard. The bike is constant ups and downs. Greg Bennett rode hard, it was a tough battle and it took me the entire ride to catch up with him." said, Cunningham who finished the race in 3 hours, 48 minutes, 55 seconds.

Cunningham has recently incorporated CeraSport ORS into his training regimen and has achieved excellent results, "I'm already noticing the difference using CeraSport in my training. I've been able to ride in the middle of the day down here in Austin, and then train later in the day without any hydration problems."

Cunningham appears to be in good form heading into the Foster Grant Ironman World Championship 70.3 in Clearwater next month - he's finished third at the event two times, including last year.
