Contact: Jennifer Rapp, Director of Marketing & Sales, 410-309-1000, or emailjrapp@ceraproducts.us At the near end to the 2009 Tri season and the start of the race to Kona, several of the CeraSport sponsored athletes had impressive placements over the weekend: In Canada: Mirinda Carfrae won again at Muskoka 70.3, Richie Cunningham placed second in the men's division in this hilly tough course, while Tyler Lord placed 3rd in the Montreal ESPIRIT 70.3. In the USA: Bree Wee placed 1st place at Lavaman in Hawaii while Chris McDonald ended up in 5th at the Ironman Wisconsin. Dereck Treadwell was the 2nd in the pro field at the Toughman Half Tri, Mike Caiazzo placed 3rd at the Pumpkinman Half Ironman in ME, Nick Waninger was 1st overall at the Trail of Tears Sprint Tri in Missouri, and Dave Kuendig was 3rd overall at the TRI for Sight Sprint in KY. Finally, Chris Tremonte was 7th pro finisher at the Pacific Grove Olympic distance TRI in California. CeraSport's rice-based ORS provides both energy and hydration.
