The Oley Foundation (www.oley.org) is a unique charitable organization of physicians, dietitians, nurses and other health professionals as well as individuals with Crohn's, Colitis, Short-Bowel and similar conditions. Oley has chapters nationwide, and is dedicated to helping those with these GI conditions, in a variety of ways. Scientists working with The Oley Foundation are working on new scientific therapies and treatments, while others work on case management and ways to improve that.  Other members of the Oley Foundation act as mentors to others, helping them learn better ways to manage their conditions.
