Professional Triathlete Bree Wee Joins the CeraSport® Team!

Although she grew up as a Florida surfer girl, Bree Wee's heart to travel, lead her to the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The Big Island Hawaii is now her home. When moving to the Big Island, Bree traded in her surf board for a bike and some running shoes. Bree started her triathlon career by setting a huge goal, which was to compete in the Hawaii Ironman! In her 3rd full season of the sport Bree competed in her first Ironman. With the support of her family, community and her coach Paul Regensburg, Bree not only finished her first Ironman she set the 25-29 age group record in 9:47. This time broke Kate Major's overall amateur record set in 2002!
In Bree's rookie season as a Professional Triathlete she earned podium finishes in both Ironman (2nd IM Japan) and 70.3 (3rd St. Croix) events. She also claimed her 2009 Pro Kona slot with a 4th place finish at Ironman Florida. With a huge desire to become the best triathlete she can be, Bree's future in triathlon continues to looks bright!
In Bree's most recent event she took second place at the Vancouver Half with a time of 4:23.12.
“The Vancouver half Ironman is a favorite of mine and I was thrilled to be back. Thankfully my Blue Seventy kept me warm and I was able to score another "first woman out of the water"! From there it was time to bike. This course is a favorite as I enjoy climbing. I knew I needed to run the way I do in training, I've yet to do it this season so I wanted to do it race day. I finished the run with a solid 1:22 for the half marathon and was smiling ear to ear! It was also my first time ever in my life breaking a 4:30 in the half iron distance. I ran to a PR of 4:23 and second place female overall.
Also contributing to the race, I'm most certain was the use of CeraSport. I have been in search of something that is easy on my stomach when working hard and I believe I found the missing piece!!"
