U.S Army Rangers presented Cera Products with a large plaque of appreciation, to thank the company for its sponsorship of the 2008 Best Ranger Competition, April 19, 2008, at Ft. Benning, GA. Charlene Riikonen, President/CEO of Cera Products, proudly accepted the plaque from CSM John Burns and Col. Gregory Hager, Commander, Ranger Training Brigade. This competition has rangers competing in multiple events that test each team’s physical, mental, and technical abilities as rangers. This three day competition, held on Fort Benning, consists of selected events such as distance running, push-ups, marksmanship, weapons assembly, foot march, and airborne operation.

Over a three day period, with little rest in between, performing physical and strenuous activities can wreak havoc on the body if it is not properly hydrated. Dehydration can affect the physical and mental capabilities of the body, which hinders athletic performance and ability. CeraSport was given to all competitors so that they could retain their strength and hydration throughout the three day event. CeraSport is honored to be a supporter of our country’s finest, the United States Army Rangers.
