CeraFLU™™ Hydration Drink Mix donated for Myanmar Victims

Columbia, MD

CeraFlu Hydration drink mix packets valued at $15,360 were given to Direct Relief International and Child Health Foundation today to help in disaster recovery operations in Myanmar. Fever can further dehydrate individuals already weakened from waterborne infections and diarrhea diseases, conditions which deplete essential fluids and salts. The CeraFlu hydration drink donated can help nearly 10,000 individuals with fever or upper respiratory infections

This gift brings contribution to over $80,000 by Cera Products, a woman-owned and operated company in Maryland which manufactures high performance rice-based oral rehydration drinks to help people recover quickly from dehydration without painful and costly intravenous IV hydration. Hygiene and needles in a disaster stricken area can also be averted.

Cera's key products are CeraLyte® rice-based ORS, which prevents and corrects dehydration from diarrhea and vomiting, and CeraSport® Oral Hydration, a sports nutrition drink for energy and performance. CeraSport is used by Mirinda Carfrae, Ford Ironman World 70.3 Champion, and Triathlete of the Year, as well as other top athletes throughout the USA.
